 Applied for job with FedEx contractor Land Grant. Just like he first time dealing with the FedEx application format I encountered problems with the screening process. Job fell through cause of background employment not being verified by previous employers. Which ones? Don't know.

Back to square one.........

2020 not so clear

Covid-19 and its strangle on the planet. It has been a month and a half since the mandated stay at home orders were put into effect. Most of the countries/states/cities are abiding by it. China was first hit with the epidemic with 40k in deaths from this virus. it is now April an the US has taken the lead, cause we are always in first place, with 227,061 infected 5,345 dead 10,265 recovered as i write this. Italy is in second with 111,242 infected 13,915 dead 18,278 recovered. World numbers are 981,764 infected 50,397 deaths 209,137 recovered. Last night the US numbers were at 160k infected. So, I want to say the tests that have been submitted are clearing after the 2 to 4 day period to get results. I have recently moved to Texas from California to a town named Boerne (Bernie). Our population as of 2017 is 16,270. We have 5 confirmed cases.

My homestead is clean and clear. Cabin fever for sure...... with twins 3yrs old, girls......... (thud)

well........ thats all folks.

2 years later......

36 of the lower 40 have been trekked by me and various tractor/trailers as I bring food supplies to various cold storage's...... Truck driving for me is fun (at this point in time), getting paid to travel the US via company truck..... how can you beat that?

I now venture to a different company but still driving all over the US. Better income and more home time.

and i'm out till the next free input of progress........

Troy Skeen ....... Why did you let yourself take you from us? Don't let weakness take over. Don't forget that you have friends to help you through anything. Damn whatever did this to you. What is your situation now. Eternal suffering. Not only did your answer to your problem not help you, you will live it for eternity. Condemned to its pain and stress for as long as time exists. Time would have lifted you out of your dealings. Faith would have taken a hold of you and cleared you of all that was holding you from common sense. Why man why?

You are missed by many. Your life will be lived by all you have made laugh and feel good about life. Feel better about life now that yours has come to an uneventful end.

The 20 mile ride

It is pretty disturbing people in cars do not look for cyclists, I had numerous people cut out and/or turn in front of me while I was in plain sight....... No wonder L.A. I hate to wear a helmet, but dammit, I guess I'd better start.......

Day Off Memorial

So, here I sit with another day off from work, and it's all due to the people who fearlessly signed up to protect us from enemies both foreign and domestic. Thanks but I would rather work and be more useful and productive in getting this country back on its feet. I'm sure people would rather know they have a working future rather than sit and enjoy a beverage of their liking....... Indeed the armed forces keep enemies from infiltrating our boarders, but think when the war does end, where will the hundreds of thousands of soldiers go to work? They risk their lives, risk departing this world for what they believe in that they are doing, and try and put back in their mind "will today be my day?" I for one could not live like that. Although, is it not the same feeling with the job and workforce issues sitting on rice paper??

One might not agree with all the President is doing and has to deal with, and this is the reason I do not deal in political issues. I cannot make a change, just as well "we the people" cannot make a change. Albeit the slogan of American Pride........

Mind jumble. Lost my thoughts due to answering the front door........ argh!

29er

My new 29" MTB is on it's way. Prolly get it tomorrow or Friday. Nice early Christmas bonus. Got to get back in shape. With the changes in work and actual physical activity my body is not quite the same as it was 2 months ago. Sierra is totally excited that I will have a bike so we can go cruise the streets or trails together.

Good day today. Went up to Pismo Beach and Solvang for work. Love the fact that I get to ride along the coast almost everyday in order to get to the job site(s). Welp, purdy much all I have to say at this point. Health and Happiness to all.......
